What is Colorado Contract Standings?
Colorado Contract Standings is a standings table for Colorado's federal contractors. Every week it pulls contract award data from public government sources, scores each company, and ranks who is winning, who is rising and who is new.
What we rank
- Momentum leaderboard: Every Colorado contractor ranked by growth, new wins, relationship breadth and recency.
- Movers this week: Who climbed the rankings and who added the most new contract dollars since last week.
- New entrants: Companies that won their first award or subaward in Colorado in the last year.
- Who's hiring: Companies winning new work and growing, which usually means hiring.
- Buyers: Which primes and agencies are paying Colorado companies, and who they pay.
- Industries: Top companies in each industry (NAICS code).
Every company also has a scorecard with its 12-month totals, trend, biggest awards, buyers and certifications. Browse them all on the companies page.
Where the data comes from
Prime awards and subawards come from USAspending.gov, company details (industry codes, small-business certifications, registration status) from SAM.gov, and SBIR/STTR awards from SBIR.gov. Prime awards count when the work is performed in Colorado; subawards count when the subcontractor is based in Colorado. The data refreshes weekly and every figure links back to its source record. The standings cover Department of Defense contracts today; other federal agencies are being added.
The methodology page explains exactly how the momentum score and every ranking are calculated.
What we don't do
- No paid placement. Nobody can buy a listing, a rank or a badge.
- No hand-made listings. A company appears when it wins an award, and nowhere else.
- No accounts. There is nothing to sign up for, claim or edit; the numbers are the public record.
Independent
Colorado Contract Standings is an independent project built on public data. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by any government agency.
Questions or corrections
If a number looks wrong, email info@machine94.com with the company and the record. Most issues trace back to how an award was reported to the source, and we will explain or fix what we can.
